JA Ottawa is pleased to announce a new entrepreneurial program for students in grades 9-12 in partnership with V!VA Barrhaven! This exciting intergenerational program will teach you leadership and communication skills that are invaluable for your future career. During this program, you will:

  • Develop and market a product or service;
  • Solve real business challenges;
  • Gather data, evaluate choices and create a plan;
  • Meet mentors and build your network;
  • Learn about teamwork, responsibility and business ethics; and
  • Make real money by selling a real product to real customers.

Every youth, no matter what their circumstances, should have the opportunity to dream and build on their strengths to achieve success. With rich and diverse life experiences, mentors who have had success in their own lives can serve as inspiring role models, both socially and career-wise as they empower youth with practical knowledge and employability skills.
