How to Support English Language Learners Dec. 10

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board coaches, Kourtney Derouin and Julie Coburn, are hosting a training session for volunteers who are, or will be, supporting English Language Learners (students learning English) in OCDSB schools who need support in both language acquisition and academic upgrading.  This workshop will give you some tools and strategies to help you support newcomer students, and other students learning English. Excellence in Literacy Foundation Volunteer Training – March 10th

Literacy is hope. Literacy is freedom. Literacy is a human right, not a luxury item.
