Read Write Google Workshop

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board coach, Tina Ricketts, is hosting a training session for volunteers who will be supporting students with language learning disabilities and/or English language learners (including newcomers) using Read & Write Google assistive technology in the classroom. OttawaReads Early Literacy Read-aloud Training

How to Support English Language Learners Dec. 10

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board coaches, Kourtney Derouin and Julie Coburn, are hosting a training session for volunteers who are, or will be, supporting English Language Learners (students learning English) in OCDSB schools who need support in both language acquisition and academic upgrading.  This workshop will give you some tools and strategies to help you support newcomer students, and other students learning English.
