Brain Development and Math in Young Children

Join us for Brain Development and Math workshop and find some answers to the following questions:

  1. Is brain development influenced by the 5 senses?
  2. What are the milestones in brain development and language development?
  3. Are all brains developed equally?
  4. Are there critical periods in brain development and can we as adults help brain development during those periods?
  5. Are boys better at math than girls?
  6. Is there such a thing as a math brain?
  7. Can math be developed at an early stage?
  8. What are the ages and stages of math and children`s math milestones?
  9. Is there math specific vocabulary and how do we as adult introduce this vocabulary to children?

    Location: 160 Percy Street Richard Pfaff Alternative Program ROOM 21 (2nd floor west wing)
