What is an endowment?
An endowment is a financial asset or fund established by an organization with the primary purpose of providing ongoing financial support for specific activities or initiatives. Endowments are typically invested to generate income and preserve the principal amount, and a portion of the income generated is used to support the organization’s mission or designated purposes. What about my family? I need to take care of them with my estate?
Legacy planning often involves considerations beyond charitable giving, and it can certainly include provisions for your family including, children and grandchildren. When planning your estate, you have the opportunity to ensure that your loved ones are taken care of according to your wishes.
