It was another amazing year at the Mercedes-Benz Ottawa Downtown Hot Women’s Open! On August 12th we had a fantastic time at Greensmere Golf & Country Club with the New Hot 89.9, the wonderful sponsors, and the teams of enthusiastic golfers raising money for ONFE’s School Breakfast Program. 

This year was extra special. Every year at this event, Mercedes-Benz Ottawa Downtown donates $30,000 to support ONFE’s School Breakfast Program, helping us feed Ottawa children and youth every school day. But this August, they increased their donation to $50,000! 

“When our team was told of this increase at the event, we were floored… and even shed a few tears. We are so grateful for Mercedes-Benz Ottawa Downtown’s contributions, which over the years have amounted to $150,000!” said Heather Norris, ONFE’s President and CEO.

A dollar a day feeds a child in our School Breakfast Program. That means that the Mercedes-Benz Ottawa Downtown Hot Women’s Open raised enough for 52,141 meals! Thank you to the New Hot 89.9 and everyone who made this year’s Hot Women’s Open a success.
