Over a four-month period, JA Company Program teaches high school students how to organize and operate a real business. Volunteers from the local business community work with students to launch and run a small enterprise. This gives students the real-world skills and experience that they need to fulfill their potential.
JA Ottawa currently offers two streams of JA Company Program:
- After-School Company is mentor-led and runs in the Fall
- In-School Company is teacher-led and starts at the beginning of Semester 1 or Semester 2
