In a normal school year, ONFE serves 2.5 million school breakfasts. By donating and supporting Breakfast in Ottawa: ONFE’s Community Cookbook, you will be supporting K-12 students in every neighbourhood of the city, helping them start the day on equal footing with their peers.

While we were happy to have our program back in schools in September, we knew there were kids in the community in need of a nutritious breakfast to successfully start and move through their at-home school day.

We are happy to announce that we are now serving School Breakfast Learn-At-Home Kits. Similar to our School Breakfast Replacement Kits that were delivered from March through August 2020, these kits are packed in a COVID-safe way and distributed across the city through Community Houses and local food cupboards. Each kit provides 1 months’ worth of school day breakfasts.

We are distributing 2,000 kits per month, beginning on Monday, January 18th.

We are pleased to launch our 3-year partnership with the Capital Integral Charitable Foundation through their title sponsorship of Breakfast in Ottawa.

Support kids in your community

We serve 13,500 meals each day in 193 Ottawa schools, helping, serving kids who, through no fault of their own, arrive at school hungry. Learn more about ONFE's School Breakfast Program.
