From March to August, ONFE’s School Breakfast Program served 710,436 meals to K-12 students across the city of Ottawa through our School Breakfast Replacement Kits.

Now that students are back in class, ONFE’s School Breakfast Program is back in schools too. To provide meals to kids in need while still following public health protocols, we are providing individually wrapped servings to decrease food handling in the serving process and facilitate social distancing. This approach, while safe and necessary, is three times more costly than our regular operations.

In a normal school year, ONFE serves 2.5 million school breakfasts. By donating and supporting Breakfast in Ottawa: ONFE’s Community Cookbook, you will be supporting K-12 students in every neighbourhood of the city, helping them start the day on equal footing with their peers.

We are pleased to launch our 3-year partnership with the Capital Integral Charitable Foundation through their title sponsorship of Breakfast in Ottawa.
